"We are products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of it". - Rick Warren.
The Lord spoke this very clear to me. So many of us aren’t seeing our next level unfold because we’re still babysitting the hurt and pain from our past. There is a difference between forgetting and using it as a step vs. nurturing it thus becoming a stumbling block to our success.
WE CAN BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE

HOW IT STARTED .....
I knew I needed a plan
Shavonna grew up in a small rural town in North Carolina (Bertie County), where attaining, seeing, or even the thought of being wealthy was not actively exhibited.
Her fondest childhood memory and what taught her to be appreciative (and value money) was finding coins around the house to take to the bank. Exchanging the rolled coins would either be used for a special treat from Tastee-Freeze or carry the family until the next payday.
Through encouragement from her parents, family, teachers, and those around her, she realized that she wanted something different for her family and herself. Not only did she have to learn to manage money better, but undergo mindset and lifestyle shifts to bring her to the point of being financially secured today. Life has not always been a cakewalk for her and her family; after being laid off multiple times and seeing the household income decline. However, through being strategic and having a documented and written plan in place, her household never missed a beat. Just because you didn’t come from wealth doesn’t mean you can’t be wealthy. Her mission is to help women like her map out their financial future and create a path to sustainable wealth.
